Due to this year's generous contributions and abundant surplus, our proposed plan of providing food for 350 families in San Francisco, Siskiyou County and Southern Oregon rapidly grew into a gratifying 430 families. 

Each family received a large box of Thanksgiving feast fixings:  fresh produce, coffee, flour, canned goods, topped off with a large turkey. Our heartfelt thanks to all of the enthusiastic volunteers and those who contributed their time, money and/or love to Free the Need's Thanksgiving success.
